Renault out of favour Down Under

Red Bull Racing’s recent uneasy relationship with Renault has been further tempered by a poor showing in the season-opening qualifying session at Albert Park, where home favourite Daniel Ricciardo was 2 full seconds off the unsurprising pace-setters Mercedes, which placed him a starting position of 7th for tomorrow’s race. Fellow Australian Mark Webber, who was powered to each of his 9 Grand Prix wins by a Renault engine in a Red Bull, has been airing his views on the matter to Austrian broadcaster ORF.
