Bottas out of Australian GP

Williams have yet to decide whether Valtteri Bottas will race in Australia after the Finn spent the night in hospital. Bottas was seen clutching his back in the wake of Saturday's qualifying and was seen by the FIA's medical delegate. Bottas then went to hospital for further checks where it emerged he had suffered soft tissue damage. Hours before the Australian GP his participation is still in doubt. 'Further precautionary scans which revealed that Valtteri had sustained some soft tissue damage in his lower back,' said Williams in a statement. 'He remained in hospital overnight and following a restful night is now working with a physiotherapist prior to final assessment by the FIA...
