Injured Bottas to miss Australian GP

Williams driver Valtteri Bottas has been ordered not to take part in the Australian Grand Prix after suffering a back injury during qualifying. The Finn qualified sixth and wanted to race despite a tear in a disc in his lower back, but the official doctor declared him unfit. The decision came despite Bottas complying with the requirement to be able to get out of the car within five seconds. Williams said it 'respected' the decision and would help him in his desire to return for the next race in Malaysia on 29 March. Hamilton storms to pole in Australia
