Manor cleared over Australian GP no-show

The Manor Marussia F1 Team will not be punished by the FIA for failing to make it out on track during the Australian Grand Prix The team, which only came out of administration a month before the 2015 F1 opener, faced an uphill task to gets its two cars – updated versions of their 2014 machines – ready to race in time, but were nonetheless present in Melbourne. However, with neither Will Stevens nor Roberto Merhi making it out on track at all as Manor struggled to re-install the software it lost when it began selling its assets, the FIA subsequently summoned the team to explain its no-show.
