Closer competition would be good for F1 - Rosberg

Sutton Images Enlarge Nico Rosberg is hoping Mercedes' rivals can make a step up and start providing some competition for his team at this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix. Mercedes dominated the opening round of the season in Melbourne and are expected to have the upper hand again this weekend. All the signs point towards a repeat of last year when Rosberg was in a two-way fight with team-mate Lewis Hamilton for the title, but Rosberg is hoping for some competition from elsewhere.
