Alonso to compete in Malaysian Grand Prix

+ Fernando Alonso has been has been given the all-clear to compete in this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix. The 33-year-old double world champion missed the final week of testing and the opening Formula One World Championship round in Melbourne after he w hit the wall at turn three of the Circuit de Catalunya and was airlifted to hospital for precautionary checks. After weeks of rehabilitation, training and checks, Alonso was finally given the nod this morning by the FIA Medical Delegate.
