Max Verstappen equalled his dad’s best-ever grid position
17-year-old Max Verstappen proved he is a threat to F1’s best by qualifying an extraordinary sixth for the Malaysian Grand Prix. In just his second race, he has equaled his dad's best-ever grid position when Jos started from sixth at the 1994 Belgian GP for Benetton.
