Fan apprehended for track invasion during practice
In a bizarre moment, an intruder dashed across the track during the second practice session at the Chinese Grand Prix on Friday. Dressed in dark clothes, the man ran across the track from the grandstand, leapt over the pit wall and went through a gap in the fence before being apprehended by security staff near pit lane. The man barely made it across the track in between cars coming down the main straight. FIA, the sport's governing body, was investigating the incident, which did not cause a delay to the practice session.
