Red Bull Will Only Stay in F1 if Competitive : Mateschitz
Dietrich Mateschitz confirmed that Red Bull are considering their future in F1 following last year's disappointing season and the current problems they have with performance and their relationship with their power unit supplier. Speaking to media at this weekend's Chinese race he stated, ‘We will only stay in F1 if we have a competitive team, and for this you require a competitive power unit. If you don't, you can have the best car and the best drivers and still have no chance of competing for the win.' After the Australian season opener, team advisor Dr Helmut Marko had also openly questioned whether Red Bull would remain in the sport if they could not return to a winning...
