Button: Maldonado clash was a misjudgement
+ Jenson Button says a misjudgement caused him to collide with Pastor Maldonado during the Chinese Grand Prix, adding that he thought there was room to overtake. The Englishman was battling with the Lotus driver late in the race when the two made contact at Turn 1. He suffered front wing damage but continued, finishing 13th. However, he was handed a five-second time penalty by the FIA stewards and two penalty points, dropping him to 14th place.
