Sainz Jr. laments gearbox problem
– Toro Rosso rookie Carlos Sainz Jr. believes that a gearbox problem cost him a shot at finishing in the points at the Chinese Grand Prix.Sainz Jr. had a difficult afternoon at the Shanghai circuit as he spun early on before his STR10 slowed on the back straight due to a gearbox issue.Sainz Jr. lost 45 seconds before the problem corrected itself, by which time he was firmly out of contention and ultimately finished in 14th position, before Jenson Button's time penalty promoted him up to 13th."It was a very difficult race for us today," said Sainz Jr. "We started on Prime tyres, but the track was very green and dirty at the beginning, so we immediately suffered a...
