Victory on F4 debut for Mick Schumacher
Mick Schumacher, son of seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, marked his car racing debut over the weekend with a fine maiden ADAC Formula 4 victory at the Oschersleben. The 16 year-old had already impressed earlier on in the event by finishing ninth and 12th in the opening two races of the weekend, but a front row start for the third and final race of the weekend would put him in a position to challenge for overall honours. Proceeding to take the lead from the opening bends, Schumacher would proceed to defeat his Van Amersfoot Racing team-mate Joey Mawson to claim an impressive victory, much to his delight.
