Marciello given FP1 and test drive for Sauber

Ferrari academy driver Raffaele Marciello is set to drive for Sauber in free practice one for the Spanish Grand Prix and in the mid-season test in Barcelona. The Sauber reserve driver is preparing for a hectic weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya as he will also contest the second round of the GP2 Series. Marciello made his Formula 1 debut in FP1 in Malaysia and has been handed two more opportunities in the Sauber C34 in FP1 and the final day of the mid-season test, which is will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday after the Spanish Grand Prix. “Overall, it will be a busy weekend for me,” Marciello said. “I am really looking forward to it.
