Stevens pleased rivals haven’t pulled away

Will Stevens says he is pleased Manor has not lost too much ground to its competitors, despite other teams bringing a raft of updates. Though both Manor cars were over two seconds shy of their closest rivals in both first and second practice in Spain, Stevens was happy the gap wasn’t larger. “Today’s probably been the smoothest running we’ve had since we started, so [we] got through everything we needed to, had a pretty strong long run at the end which was good,” he told media at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. “In terms of upgrades, I’m not sure what anyone’s brought but I know for sure that they would have brought a fair amount so, the fact that we’re still at a...
