Alonso confident McLaren can score points in Spain

Image Credit: McLaren F1 team Homeboy Fernando Alonso is confident that McLaren-Honda can score its first points of the season in tomorrow’s Spanish Grand Prix. Despite being concealed by rookie neighbor Carlos Sainz, who will start in fifth place for Toro Rosso, the double world champion believes a step forward is possible for his Honda-powered team. McLaren did a minor achievement by getting both of its cars through to Q2 for the first time in this season on Saturday, Alonso was forced to settle for 13th place on the grid ahead of teammate Jenson Button in P14. “I am confident we can take points tomorrow,”...
