Rosberg quickest on Barcelona test day one
Nico Rosberg ended the first day of the post-Spanish Grand Prix test in Barcelona at the top of the timesheets for Mercedes. Last weekend's race winner put in a 1:24.374 in the morning session. Rosberg failed to improve his time in the afternoon and no one else was able to beat it. The 2014 championship runner-up also completed the most laps of anyone on Tuesday, managing 146 tours of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Marcus Ericsson improved mid-way through the afternoon to go second, 2.3 seconds slower than Rosberg. He managed 98 laps in total at the wheel of Sauber's C34.
