Hamilton concludes new Mercedes F1 deal

World champion Lewis Hamilton will stay on at the Mercedes Formula 1 team after finally concluding a deal with the German squad. After months of delays, the reigning world champion team announced on Wednesday that Hamilton has signed a new agreement that will keep him on board, ending speculation linking him to a Ferrari switch. The new deal is for three years. Hamilton joined Mercedes from McLaren for the start of the 2013 season, and he has taken 15 wins and 16 pole positions with the Brackley-based team so far. The Briton took his second title last year, and is currently leading the championship from teammate Nico Rosberg by 20 points having won the first four grands prix of 2015. More...
