Hamilton happy with Monaco practice progress

Mercedes AMG Petronas World Champion Lewis Hamilton hailed a 'great' day as he topped both Thursday practice sessions for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. Hamilton is searching for his first victory in the Principality since his lone Formula 1 triumph in 2008 and topped both sessions around the narrow streets, clocking his best time in the second session shortly before heavy rain struck the Principality. "I had a great first day here," he said. "The target is always to get on the pace as quick as you can and to be very specific and precise in the set-up changes you make, so you don't go down the wrong path.
