Kvyat alleviates pressure with career-best fourth

Daniil Kvyat is celebrating after scoring the best result of his F1 career with a confident run to fourth place in the Monaco Grand Prix. Having qualified fifth just behind his team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, a better start would see the Russian snatch the position through the first turns, before proceeding to make the place his own for the majority of the race. Though he would cede the spot in the final laps when Red Bull ordered him to let Ricciardo on the super-soft tyres through, the Australian's failure to get past Lewis Hamilton ahead meant he would be forced to give back the position to his team-mate.
