Manor appoint Fabio Leimer as reserve driver
2013 GP3 Champion Fabio Leimer has been hired by Manor F1 Team as their official reserve driver for 2015. The Swiss driver will act as reserve for the two race drivers Will Stevens & Roberto Merhi for the remainder of 2015, and will also take the wheel of the MR03B during selected FP1 sessions throughout the remaining rounds. “I’m thrilled to be provided with this opportunity and I’d like to thank the Manor Marussia F1 Team for the faith they have shown in my ability.' said Leimer. The former GP2 man has been left on the sidelines for most of this season after his expected drive in Japanese Super Formula fell through due to financial issues.
