Hamilton fastest as rain shortened FP2, then crashes

Defending world champion, Lewis Hamilton set the fastest lap-time in second Canadian GP practice ahead of crashing into a tyre wall when heavy rain hits halfway through the evening session. Circuit Gilles Villeneuve was dry for the first 40 minutes of the session and the teams send aces to collect data on the super-soft and soft tyre ahead of tomorrow's qualifying. The Championship leader, Hamilton clocked a 1m15.988s on the super-soft tyres, 0.316 seconds clear of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.
