Haas unlikely to make Danica Patrick F1 swoop
The incoming Haas team is unlikely to attempt luring Danica Patrick to F1 in 2016, with the former IndyCar Series racer being branded a 'gamble'. The American outfit remains on course to make its much anticipated F1 debut next season, with attention turning increasingly to whether it will attempt to place a local driver it one of the seats. With this in mind, prominent Patrick was raised as a possibility given her association with Haas in both IndyCar and NASCAR, while the recent announcement that her personal backer 'GoDaddy' is withdrawing its sponsorship was also perceived as a potential opportunity.
