Thrilled Hamilton treasures special 44th pole
Eight years after clinching his maiden F1 pole position and win at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Lewis Hamilton will fittingly start the 2015 Canadian Grand Prix from his 44th career pole position as he looks to stamp his authority over Nico Rosberg once more. A special venue for the Englishman after winning from pole position for the very first time back in 2007, Hamilton put himself in position to repeat that feat eight years later as he comfortably out-performed his team-mate and title rival when it mattered in Q3.
