Hamilton hails 'very special' Canada pole

Mercedes AMG Petronas World Champion Lewis Hamilton hailed a 'special' pole position as he topped qualifying for the 44th time in his Formula 1 career. Hamilton, whose maiden pole position came at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 2007, beat team-mate Nico Rosberg to top spot by three-tenths of a second. "I feel amazing today, [it] wasn’t the easiest of days, third practice was tough and I didn't get many laps, mostly my fault," he said, referring to finishing last in the 60 minute session on Saturday morning.
