Alonso: McLaren has to be clever for points
– Fernando Alonso says McLaren will have to be clever if he is to score his first points of the season at the Canadian Grand Prix.Alonso hasn't claimed a top 10 finish since his return to McLaren at the start of 2015 and will start from 13th position at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.In order to collect points Alonso believes that the Honda-powered outfit will have to adopt a different approach to usual."I was happy with my lap and I think this is the best qualifying position we could have expected today," he said."I expect to be starting 13th, owing to Max's [Verstappen] likely penalty, so, after a tough day for the team, with my engine change this morning, and me...
