Honda lament 'very sad & tough day'

McLaren-Honda's engine woes continued on Saturday despite Honda's expending a significant number of tokens to improve both performance and reliability. Jenson Button missed qualifying entirely with an ERS issue, while Fernando Alonso would have missed all of FP3 after needing to install a fourth internal combustion engine were it not for the session's multitudinous red flags.
