Formula 1 performs refuelling U-turn
ormula 1 is set to drop a proposal to bring back in-race refuelling from 2017, with Mercedes boss Toto Wolff claiming that the idea has received "100 per cent negative" feedback during recent meetings.Formula 1's Strategy Group put forward the proposal for a refuelling return last month, as part of a sequence of measures aimed at making cars faster and improving the sport's overall show.But Wolff, speaking to reporters at the Canadian Grand Prix, says subsequent meetings have raised concerns over the idea, with teams unanimously agreeing that it should be dropped."When we discussed it in the Strategy Group it didn't have a lot of support but we agreed to discuss it in the...
