Canadian GP: Hamilton holds Rosberg at bay

Lewis Hamilton scored his fourth victory of the season in the Canadian Grand Prix at Montreal after a tense duel at the front with Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg. Despite worries about fuel consumption and brake wear, Hamilton kept Rosberg at arm’s length throughout the 70-lap race which, rarely for Montreal, did not feature a safety car period. He won by 2.2s. Valtteri Bottas scored Williams’s first podium of the season after Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen spun away third, while Sebastian Vettel charged through from the tail of the grid to finish fifth, ahead of a similarly-charging Felipe Massa.
