Button takes positives from 'difficult' Canadian GP

Jenson Button has remained positive about the progress made by McLaren and the team's season so far, despite describing the Canadian Grand Prix as 'difficult' and 'painful'. The Englishman lined up 20th on the grid after failing to set a time in qualifying, following a ERS-related failure in third practice on Saturday morning. He was then handed a drive-through penalty – which he had to serve within the first three laps – before the race had even started after McLaren changed his MGU-H and turbo elements.
