Kvyat: We did all we could

Daniil Kyvat felt his ninth place finish in Canada was the best he could achieve under the circumstances against his Mercedes and Ferrari-powered rivals. The Red Bull man ended the race as the only Renault-powered driver in the points, taking an unspectacular ninth place finish in Montreal. The Russian admits it was an incredibly difficult race due to the vast power deficit compared to Mercedes and Ferrari but is adamant his Red Bull squad did everything in its power to secure a strong result. “It was a tough race because the Mercedes powered cars had a clear advantage over us, but we managed to keep two of them behind us today which is the maximum we could have done,” Kvyat said after...
