Kvyat handed reprimand for pit infringement
Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat has been reprimanded for a pit infringement during the first practice session for the Austrian Grand Prix. Race director Charlie Whiting made it clear to drivers prior to the weekend that upon entering the pit lane they must remain to the right of the white line situated on the approach to Turn 8. Kvyat did not adhere to this at one point during the opening practice session and has consequently been handed his first reprimand of 2015. If a driver collects three reprimands in one season, they will receive a five place grid penalty. Kvyat is set for a 10 place grid drop this weekend due to the use of a fifth power unit.
