Vettel fastest in rain-hit third practice

Ferrari ace Sebastian Vettel had edged out championship leader Lewis Hamilton to finish top of the in the third practice session for Austrian Grand Prix. Vettel posted a benchmark time of 1:09.994, 0.017 seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton, while his teammate Kimi Raikkonen finished marginally behind in third place. Sergio Perez was fourth in the Force India, while Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg came home in fifth spot. The top teams' attempts to do that before the rain hit were frustrated when Fernando Alonso's McLaren stopped on the pit straight with a gearbox problem which caused fluctuating engine revs. McLaren duo Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button, who both face grid penalties on Sunday,...
