Alonso expecting a ‘difficult' Grand Prix

McLaren's Fernando Alonso says that he is expecting his race on Sunday to be a ‘little bit painful' as he takes a 25 place grid penalty. Team-mate Jenson Button has also been hit with a 25 place penalty for changing engine components overnight. Alonso brought out the red flags during Saturday morning's FP3 session when his MP4/30 ground to a halt exiting the final corner. The problem was rectified by a gearbox change, resulting in five place grid penalty to add to his previous twenty place grid penalty for changing engine, turbocharger & MGU-H. This means that Fernando will be starting firmly from the back of the grid, as well as needing to take a time penalty during the race. He...
