Warwick: ‘Bizarre' that Hamilton skipped Austria test

British Grand Prix – Former F1 driver & BRDC President Derek Warwick says that he finds it ‘bizarre' that Lewis Hamilton begged off the two day in-season test after being defeated in the Austrian Grand Prix. Speaking to Sky's The F1 Show, Warwick said that Hamilton's request to miss testing was an odd one; Hamilton having been beaten during the Austrian Grand Prix last Sunday. The two day test was held on the Tuesday and Wednesday following the Grand Prix, with Hamilton originally scheduled to appear alongside Pascal Wehrlein.
