Modified Turn 1 means Safety Car start for London ePrix
London ePrix – Due to Jerome D'Ambrosio's Turn 1 accident in FP1 this morning the FIA, in conjunction with circuit organisers, have made adjustments to the troublesome corner. Drivers noticed early during Free Practice One this morning that there was a very large bump/surface on the entrance into Turn 1. Stephane Sarrazin nearly fell victim to the aggressive bump by having a near miss with the wall as he lost his front end and understeered off course on entry into Turn 1. Jerome D'Ambrosio was not so lucky however, losing the rear end on exit from Turn 1 and damaging his rear right suspension to render his car useless; stopping out on track and bringing out the red flags. “Well...
