Maldonado downplays Verstappen driving issues
Pastor Maldonado has downplayed the furore surrounding Max Verstappen’s driving standards in recent races, and feels his comments post race in Austria while the Dutchman was defending his position were taken out of context. The Lotus F1 Team driver was able to pass the Scuderia Toro Rosso for his second consecutive seventh place finish at the Red Bull Ring, with Maldonado stating at the time that he thought some of the teenagers defensive driving tactics were questionable, but revealed he has no issues with the Dutchman. “I’ve seen it on TV now and it looked pretty good,” revealed Maldonado. “It was a great battle but I’m glad I was able to finish ahead of Max Verstappen and...
