Horner lauds Ricciardo, Kvyat despite tough start

Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner has come out in support of his drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat for their resolve following a tough start to the season for the team. In a year that has seen the four-time F1 title winning outfit struggle to get beyond the mid-pack fight, Red Bull is currently classified fourth in the constructors' standings after eight races, 64 points behind third place Williams. It is a trying period that Horner – who has been publically critical of engine supplier Renault for its failure to improve its power unit package - admits has had an effect on the team, not least the drivers Ricciardo and Kvyat.
