F1 Strategy Group announces raft of changes

Mercedes AMG Petronas The FIA, FOM and Formula 1 teams - who collectively meet in the Strategy Group - have announced a raft of changes, the first of which will be introduced at this summer's Belgian Grand Prix. There will be a clampdown on driver aids beginning from the race at Spa Francorchamps, while other alterations have also been announced. Honda has been given an extra power unit for this season, while power unit regulations have also been tweaked. Intriguingly, the Strategy Group has confirmed that they have discussed 'exciting' changes to the qualifying and race format which could be introduced from next season.
