Mercedes reprimand for breach of article 27.4
Mercedes has been reprimanded for break the regulations by covering Nico Rosberg‘s car after it was returned to the pitlane during opening British Grand Prix practice. Rosberg pulled over onto the side of the track after five laps in Friday morning's FP1 with a hyrdaulic leak. It was recovered by a flatbed truck, but as it was returned to the paddock, the team covered up the underside and rear of the car, which breach a rule requiring teams not to cover up cars during race weekends. Mercedes reprimanded for its actions. 'The team covered car 6 after the car was returned to the paddock in P1 in breach of article 27.4,' read an FIA statement.
