Dennis: Jordan a 'village idiot'

Ron Dennis has insisted that McLaren's partnership with Honda will take them back to world title success and labelled former team boss Eddie Jordan a "village idiot" for suggesting that he should step down. Dennis was speaking to Sky Sports F1 at the British GP, where Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button lined up 17th and 18th – the first time since April's Chinese GP that neither driver had progressed to the second part of qualifying. But while Dennis refused to criticise Honda, he changed tack when he was reminded that Jordan had branded McLaren's management as 'arrogant' and that they need to go.
