Double DNF leaves Toro Rosso duo disappointed

It was a day of disappointment following a weekend of high ambition for the Scuderia Toro Rosso team at Silverstone, with neither Carlos Sainz Jr nor Max Verstappen seeing the chequered flag on Sunday. Sainz was on course for a top ten finish, running in ninth before his car turned itself off, leaving the Spaniard frustrated at the outside of Club Corner. “Not the best of endings to a race that was looking good,” revealed Sainz. “It was a tough start to the race and during the first stint I struggled a bit, but as soon as I pitted for another set of tyres we picked up the pace and started to push. “From then on, it was all going really well, running comfortably in P9 and waiting...
