Lotus winding-up petition postponed

– A winding-up petition against Lotus has been adjourned for two weeks, in a bid to give the team enough time to reach an agreement with a number of creditors.Lotus Formula 1 Ltd was among those on a winding-up list of the Companies Court on Monday, with judge Mr Registrar Briggs delaying the hearing until July 20.Lotus has faced financial problems in recent seasons, and slumped to eighth in last year's championship standings, ahead of only Marussia, Sauber and Caterham.Lotus CEO Matthew Carter is confident, however, that the matter will be resolved in due course, and that the case will have no bearing on the team's Formula 1 future."A number of suppliers are feeling a little...
