Reflections on the British Grand Prix
Though the British Grand Prix produced the result to which Formula One fans have become accustomed over the past few seasons, it provided some comparatively exciting racing and confirmed early conclusions about teams' competitiveness from the first half of the season. In a 2015 campaign that has seen teams' increasing familiarity with the previous season's tech shakeups, tyres and pitwall strategy calls have provided much of the drama rather than close racing: while both ultimately combined to decide the race winner, the added spice of two Williams drivers looking poised to snag the race after the first 30 laps served to provide more spectacle than bland outings in Canada and Austria....
