Reports: Bottas to Ferrari for 2016

Valtteri Bottas has signed a deal to replace Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari next season, according to media sources in Italy. Raikkonen's future has been one of the key talking points of the season, with the 2007 champion being out-scored by Ferrari newcomer Sebastian Vettel by 135 points to 76. This has lead to speculation about the potential replacement for the Finn, should Ferrari choose not to retain him for 2016. According to reports in Italy, Ferrari have elected to make a move for the 25-year-old and will pay Williams £8.5 million for an early release of his current contract.
