Kimi Raikkonen: “We did not get the ideal result”

Kimi Raikkonen qualified fifth at the Hungaroring, but felt he did not get the best grid slot possible after failing to get the best out of his car in Q3. The Scuderia Ferrari driver bemoaned the lack of preparation for qualifying after missing out on a soft Pirelli tyre run during morning practice after a water leak on his car, but praised the handling of his car. “It was a pretty normal qualifying, but we did not get the ideal result,” said Raikkonen. “We had some difficulties here and there and did not manage to put a very good lap together. “This morning we had some issues and could not run with the soft tyres: for sure this did not help and it was a bit of unknown for...
