Video: New look 2017 Formula 1

A new video created by Giorgio Piola has been released showing what Formula 1 cars of the future might look like compared to the current cars. The animated graphic depicts the dominant Mercedes W06. The most notable changes, in addition to overall car width increasing from 1.8 to 2 metres are as follows: Rear tyre width increase from 42 cm to 45 cm Front wing width increase from 82.5 cm to 92.5 cm Rear wing, top element height decrease from 94.5 cm to 80 cm Bottom element height decrease from 74.5 cm to 60 cm Rear wing endplates placed at 25 and 30 degree incline Turning vanes placed at 30 and 45 degree incline Longer rear diffuser The graphic also suggests that the front wing may be bent...
