Pastor: Lack of upgrades hampering Lotus

Although Lotus have punched above their weight without any major development, Pastor Maldonado feels they need big upgrades to move forward again. The Enstone squad are sixth in the standings with 35 points after 10 races, already triple their total points tally from last year. However, it has still been a season of frustrations for Maldonado and team-mate Romain Grosjean as between them they have failed to see the chequered flag on nine occasions. Another reason for concern is the fact that the E23 hasn't had any major upgrades due to the uncertainty surrounding Lotus' Formula 1 future.
