Ricciardo set for F1 demo in Perth

Daniel Ricciardo will take part in a post-season Formula 1 demo in his home town of Perth, Western Australia, later this year. Ricciardo will drive the Red Bull Racing RB7 that Sebastian Vettel won the 2011 World Championship with at the Perth Speed Fest on December 13. The event will be held at the Kwinana Motorplex drag racing complex, and according to organisers will be modelled on the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. “There’s nothing in Australia quite like it,” said event producer Emma Stenhouse. “To see our local hero Daniel Ricciardo in an F1 car racing in Perth, as well as racing and demonstrations of motocross, rallying, bikes, drags and V8s – alongside a huge...
