Grosjean keen to rekindle Renault relationship

Romain Grosjean says it would be 'downright top' for him if Renault was to complete its sale of Lotus and return to Formula 1 as a fully-fledged manufacturer next season. The Frenchman rose through the motorsport ranks with backing from Renault and made his F1 debut with the team in 2009, even if he unceremoniously axed after failing to impress in a handful of races during the second-half of the season. After reviving his reputation by clinching the GP2 Series title in 2011, Grosjean returned to F1 in 2012 with Lotus and quickly proved to be a capable front runner in a competitive car.
