Pirelli: Rosberg tyre failure due to 'external cut'

– Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has ruled out a structural issue with its tyres after Nico Rosberg's failure during Friday's second practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix.Rosberg's tyre showed signs of failing for the best part of a lap before it finally gave way on the approach to Blanchimont, pitching the Mercedes driver into a wild spin.After a thorough investigation into the incident overnight, the Italian manufacturer has moved to make clear that there is "no structural integrity issue on this or any other tyre".It added that the issue is "consistent with an external cut into the tyre structure"."We have conducted a thorough investigation to find...
